Introduction to ActiveFactory™ Workshop 1 day £330+VAT

 

Course Objectives and Summary

A 1-day workshop covering the installation and use of the ActiveFactory Tools to query an Industrial SQL Database. A preconfigured InSQL system is provided for participants to use. Participants will learn how to query data using the point and click features of Active Factory. The SQL Query Language is not taught, but some understanding of this language will be gained.

Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Install Active Factory Client Tools
Query the InSQL database using each component of the Active Factory Toolset

• Active Factory Query - SQL Language Query Builder
• Active Factory Report - Add in for Word
• Active Factory Active X components - IQuery and ITrend
• If Time permits - ActiveFactory Reporting Website will be demonstrated and some of its major features will be addressed

 

Pre-requisites

Working knowledge of PCs. Understanding of relational databases. An understanding of the SQL Language is useful but not essential.

 

Target Audience

Anyone who wishes to be able to Query the Industrial SQL system, but does not need to know the Configuration of the system.
