Course Overview & Objectives
A five-day basic training workshop allowing the participant to understand how InBatch interfaces to Wonderware InTouch Clients and PLC’s, and developing their knowledge of the concepts and terms associated with the Flexible Batch Systems. The workshop will enable the participant to model Batch processes and to simulate operations, the main features and topics seen throughout the workshop include: modelling the plant, managing recipes, scheduling and executing Batch’s, recording History and Generating Reports on all Batch Processing activities.
Upon completion of this workshop participants will be able to:
Install and set up Microsoft SQLServer.
Set-up the database tables for use by InBatch.
Gain a brief introduction to Structured Query Language (SQL) which is utilised to query databases.
Schedule database backup and restore activities.
To understand how to apply the Batch control system to a Batch process application
To understand InBatch's unique process modelling capabilities
To understand recipe creation and management
To know how InBatch can reduce life-cycle engineering costs
To understand the flexible InBatch structure which enables new formula and process lines to be re-configured
